throughout the day today. tomorrow the better of the two weekend days. here's the latest. you can see rain showers and snow showers moving through the area. little or no accumulation. montgomery, frederick, baltimore, carroll county, seeing snowfall. this will move out rather quickly. this activity back here in west virginia moves in during the afternoon hours. now, most of the day will be largely dry. you will just notice the chill and the high winds. a wind advisory will run from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for gusts during that time period up to 50 miles per hour. that could lead to power outages. after that, it is all about the temperatures, plummeting into the 20s. freeze warning in effect for everybody. i'll have more coming up in 10 minutes, david. >> we will check in with you then. 6:01 your time now. a developing story this morning. someone shot a 7-year-old girl in the district.
