this morning, funeral plans for prince remain undisclosed, his family taking custody of the body, transported in this van after a four-hour autopsy that produced no official cause on manner of death. but the lead investigator appears to put one area of speculation to rest. >> there were no obvious signs of trauma on the body at all. we have no reason to believe at this time that it's under the investigation. >> that investigation is expected to proceed several more weeks, authorities say, before a final report on what happened is released. in the meantime, rumors filled the void. tmc has an unverified report the singer overdosed last week, publishing a man prince outside a drug store reportedly one of multiple visits he made before the day he died. at his final public performance april 14th in atlanta, prince apologized for postponing those two shows.

you will, that he was taking percocet. percocet contains oxycodone and as id aminophyns. oxycodone, oxycontin is one of the biggest drugs in this epidemic sweeping the country. oxycodone is a powerful semi synthetic an fal geesic. it presses into the brain and leads to depression of the heart and lungs. it is just as potent as morphine when taken subcutaneously, almost as potent when taken orally and acetiminophin. that adds to it. but that is a part of the picture. so i think that this almost certainly is going to prove to be a drug death. >> a week

was this plane coming from 300 miles trgs plane descended at a rate indicative there was some sort of medical emergency on board him we know there was someone not responsive on board. his reps say that he was treated and released for flu-like symptoms. does that add up to you? what does that tell you? >> if that's part of the clinical medical history, obviously, this was such a precipitous medical problem that required a claim of an emergency landing, et cetera. it could not have been a cardiac condition, right, or a cerebral problem or a pulmonary embolism and he was discharged and i understand he couldn't get a private room so did not want to say. so the fact that you had that claim, an mortgages situation, the treatment, evidently a response, because i think then he
