do it again and qualified with flying colors. i heard through the grapevine you lost a shoe before the race yesterday? >> yeah. ten minutes before we were about to go to the room, i went to go get my spikes, last minute things. i noticed only one of my shoes were in the bag. i'm normally not a person to forget my shoes. that's kind of like, you know, a soldier showing up to war without his gun. definitely don't really see that much. when i went there, i calmly went over to one of the coaches and i asked them, whispered and said, i only have one shoe. we were calmly asking everyone. luckily, once again, allyson pulled out an extra pair of shoes. definitely a half size too big but nothing double socks couldn't fix. >> you pulled it off. congratulations. >> absolutely. >> english gardner,an

in south florida as new cases of zika emerge in one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. florida's governor says several new zika cases popped up in the miami beach area. tammy is there with the latest. good morning. >> good morning. for anybody that comes to miami beach, this is a destination. south beach is now in what they are calling the zika zone. >> reporter: ultra hip south beach, a tourist destination. >> open your eyes. >> reporter: now in the zika hot zone. >> i don't want to minimize this in any shape or form or imagination. this is something we have to take very, very seriously. >> reporter: a new travel warning for parts of south beach. a 1 1/2 mile square area in miami beach. >> five individuals have been confirmed as cases of local transmission of zika connected to the miami beach area. >> reporter: tourists from new york, texasan

spraying continues as the cdc advises pregnant women to stay away from parts of miami beach. a warning that could have a chilling effect on the state's $24 billion beach tourism industry. >> just the report of this could have an impact, even a short-term impact, on tourism, which is the golden goose that is our main industry. >> just over two weeks ago, zika discovered six mile as away in winwood. >> close to 50% businesses have taken a hit. >> reporter: businesses hit hard. >> we lose customers. the place is empty most of the time. we have to let go some of the workers. >> reporter: is fear that what happened in winwood could happen in miami beach. >> detecting the spread of zika is difficult and that's why health officials are warning zika cases may have spread to

miami-dade county. >> scary. thank you. the red cross is calling the flooding in louisiana the worst national disaster to hit the united states since hurricane sandy. more rain added to the misery friday as folks returned to a scene of destruction. at least 13 people are dead. 40,000 homes are damaged or destroyed. 4,000 people are living in shelters. investigators are asking for the public's help in finding the cause of a devastating wildfire. evacuation orders have been lifted for a fire in san bernardino, california, but many residents are returning to smoking ruins. 9 96 homes have been destroyed. 175 more have burned in lake county near sacramento. shots range out at a high school football game last night. spectators and players hit the ground in florida. they were reacting to a volley of gunshots. no one was hurt. a suspect is in custody. first-ti
