there. how long will it last in amelia draper is in the weather center. >> it won't be as windy as today. today, it was strong enough to cause power outages and minor damage across the area. right now, i'm tracking gusts out there anywhere from about 25 to 30 miles an hour. and sustained winds at about 10 to 20. what does that mean for it adds the additional chill but it's not going to cause any damage. however, look at the wind forecast. tomorrow, on your sunday, it's still breezy. on monday, it's still another breezy day. it's not until tuesday we see lighter winds move into the area. coming up in my full forecast at 11:18, i'll let you know when we will see some freeze concerns here in the d.c. metro area. it's going to be really chilly and you might want to bring those plants indoors, kristin.

thanks, amelia. a developing story out of montgomery county. an 87-year-old man shot in the head in his own backyard. now, police believe it might have been an accidental firing from a hunter's gun. there are a lot of hunters in that area. the man lives on elton farm road in brookeville near public land. he was hit by a two-millimeter officers have not been able to find the shooter. governor larry hogan is defending the deal to keep marriott in the state. marriott will get tax subsidies totaling $44 million, half from the state and half from montgomery county. marriott recently announced it is staying in bethesda. it's necessary to keep businesses here. montgomery county council and state legislature still have to

hours after vowing to sue ten women and accusing them of sexual misconduct, another woman came forward today with new allegations against donald trump with just 17 days left in the campaign, trump doubled down on the claims that the system is rigged against him. >> the system is totally rigged and broken. first, the issue >> reporter: then, retribution for now the 11 women who have accused trump of sexual misconduct. >> every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign. total fabrication. the events never happened. never. all of these lies will be sued after the election is over.

cleveland, ohio. one of the largest mergers ever has just been finalized. at&t is teaming up with time warner. the deal is worth more than $80 billion. it means at&t could soon own the rights to some of your favorite shows, like "game of thrones" and "westworld" and will own some of the most successful tv content in history. warner responsible for blockbusters like "the harry potter series" will be under the new corporate umbrella as well. the office that prosecutes virginia offenders is being punished itself. a federal judge sanctioned the attorney general's office. it's been fined for naming the wrong correction's officer in an inmate assault case.
