democrats looking at pennsylvania, illinois looking good, a lot of democrats believe they have that senate race in the bag. wisconsin, if you have those four, if you're a democrat and hillary clinton wins the president sy, those four would give you control of the senate. one wild card they have to worry about, this state, nevada, harry reid is retiring, this is the number one democratic senate seat is losing control of the senate. at at the house, it would have to be a huge wave. >> this is the highest number republicans had in the house since 1928. when they won this majority two years ago said it was wave proof. democrats would need to pick up 30 plus seats and win in very republican districts. if this is a 10 point or more presidential race, i think this

their mom was trapped under. i would rather not talk about what i saw. >> she came out hysterically crying and came out carrying her and the little baby. >> reporter: rescuers tried to save two lives but one of the men and woman died at the scene. >> the ride sustained a malfunction cauing two people to be ejected from the ride and another two people caught inside american runner, matthew sen -- centrovitz, who tweeted just got off a ride that had two killed and two others trapped. one person injured.

its ranks and now the pentagon wants that money back even though some of those folks really aren't in a position to pay. >> reporter: when the military wanted more troops to help fight in afghanistan and iraq, they handed out bonuses of $15,000 or more. robert served two tours of combat duty in iraq and now being asked to return his $20,000 bonus. >> it's in violation of federal w. that letter saying, you owed money? >> anger. we didn't do anything wrong, we stepped forward, volunteered, signed on the line and did our duty and now they're slapping us in the face for it. >> reporter: thousands of soldies similarly were signed up and some knew they weren't really eligible for enlistment bonuses but signed them up

guilty for false claims totalling $15 million and three other officers pleaded guilty to fraud. >> bonuses went from a small group of critical skills to almost everybody that was joining was eligible. in a lot of instances, soldiers would get paychecks far and above, greater than their normal pay. >> reporter: rather than forgiving the bonuses, which were in some cases, improperly handed out, the guard assigned auditors to traow saying in a statement the california national guard does not have the authority to unilaterally wave these debts even though those who signed up and got bonuses didn't do anything wrong, the auditors found $37 million may have improperly paid out. since the story came out, both sides of the aisle are calling for change.

s dom october is domestic violence awareness month. i had the privilege of visiting the safe house where any given day there can begin 100 children with their mom. while there i sat down with musician, dave navarro who talked about his experience. >> what was it like coming leer? >> i walked in here and saw a 3 broke. that could have been me. if this place had been here in 1983, my mom could have come here. to see these little innocent lives who have already lived through some pretty terrifying stuff, that's heartbreaking. i'm so sorry you're here but thank god you're here. >> dave navarro for the rock band addiction knows the shame
