good evening everyone. i'm reginald roundtree. >> i'm courtney robinson. we are on top of three big stories happening now. russia's president is ordering troops out of syria. he says most of the troops will start to withdraw tomorrow. this is part of an effort to bolster peace talks in the midst of a partial cease-fire. former priest said he is not a murder. he pleaded not guilty to murdering a texas beauty queen 55 years ago. the judge set his bond at $1 million. a new photo of a kalamazoo, michigan shooting survivor is going viral. abigail is laughing with her sister in the hospital in that picture.

so far a gofundme account has raised nearly $60,000. tonight fellow deputies are remembering one of their own killed in a wrong-way crash over the weekend. the deputy was hit head-on while driving on the selmon expressway. 10 news reporter darren flowers shows you why a woman believes she is alive to tell her story because of the deputy's quick action. >> reporter: sarah garrett feels fortunate to be alive. a wrong-way driver on the selmon expressway was headed straight for her car saturday morning. >> i was flashing my lights like a strobe light at him. >> reporter: that's when the officer followed his mission to protect and serve. he rushed in front of her crashing head on into eric mcbeth. mcbeth was driving west on the expressway in the eastbound lane. >> i feel certain in my heart

about to happen to me. and that he sacrificed himself instead. >> reporter: her father, also grateful he can still embrace his daughter. >> the man who saved my daughter and he is a national hero. >> reporter: todd had been with the hillsborough sheriff's office six year. his colleagues are emotional as they shared a piece of who he was. >> he'll definitely be miss. the thing i'll miss the most is his smile. he was a great person. >> reporter: they say he truly cared for others. embracing the safety net program, which helps locate missing adults and children. >> john made us better. he made the program and sheriff's office better. >> reporter: flags have still flying at half staff for the officer. he'll forever be remembered on the fallen officer's memorial. >> i would like to thank his family as well as him for his service.

>> we just learned about the funeral arrangements for the deputy. there will be an open visitation at st. timothy's catholic church in lutz on friday at 11:00 a.m. the service will then follow at 1:00 p.m. deputy will be laid to rest in massachusetts. investigators are looking into whether mcbeth was unfortunately of alcohol when he hit the officer. that's been the case in several recent wrong-way crashes. we are taking a closer look at how to protect yourself from a wrong-way driver headed towards you. remember, to stay right at night. most of the time a wrong-way driver will be in the right lane, which will be your left lane. if you stay right at night then you have a better chance of avoiding a head-on collision.

explains the difference between delegate and super delegates. >> reporter: there are 246 democratic delegates up for grabs in florida's presidential primary. a delegate represents the will of the voters at the democratic national convention. most of the delegates will be provided portionally to each delegates. super delegates do not have to follow the will of the voter. they can change their mind until the moment they cast their vote at the convention. delegates. delegates. if sanners was close enough the the nomination. one of our super delegates says that probably won't happen. >> we make up less than 15% of the overall voting population of the convention. never, ever in the history of

variable clouds in the low 70s. the thing i'm watching is patchy fog developing. here's why. as we take a look, temperatures this evening, i want you to focus on the 1:00 to 5:00 a.m. note the low 70s for the low temperature. i'm going to show you the dew points. that you will find right in the same pocket. low 70s and upper 60s. as the temperature and dew point get close together we see fog. i'm not concerned every county or city is dealing with it. however, what it does look like is low clouds will build in at 11:00 tonight. patchy dense fog will be in the mix well before sunrise and commute. for some we are talking below a mile. that's your weather head line for tuesday. i'm looking at the wind to come down from what we have seen.
