on the tampa end of the howard frankland because of a road crew over on the right side. make sure you give yourself extra time if you are going northbound on i-275. a live look at i-4 in thonotosassa. all looking good right now. so it's terrifying, a title people keep talking about on social media. that road i-4 named the deadliest interstate in the country with almost three deaths every two miles. yesterday on "10news at 5" i showed you some of the bad behavior we spotted on i-4 that makes it so dangerous. distracted driving, speeding, and tailgating. and those are the same things a lot of you have complained about facebook page. robin says that it's probably so dangerous because it has one of the highest concentrations of lost, clueless, and distracted drivers. wes wants us to remind viewers that slower traffic should stay to the right. it's the law. he points out something we also saw.

teacher so they went outside to play when the guard confronted them. that guard was arrested. this all happened four months ago, but it took four months of public records requests for the cbs station in jacksonville to get and to share this video. now jenna bourne is searching for both sides of the story. >> reporter: we can't hear what's being said in this hallway. it appears the boys didn't act physically aggressive against security guard robert fields to the ground. twice you can see the boy in blue was walking away. >> typically, someone who is in a position of power, meaning law enforcement or security guard, you would expect them to be kind of use quote one quote- unquote kid gloves. >> reporter: he pled to a misdemeanor battery charge and was sentence today day in jail and a year of probation. this filing decision i got from

says there wasn't enough evidence to prove the boys were actually injured physically or mentally. >> if you have someone who lacks a prior criminal record, someone who maybe has done some other good things with their lives, sometimes that mitigates a charge to a point that it's not necessary to keep it in felony court. >> reporter: the police reports show one mother did call the district complaining her son was injured by fields. fields' facebook page says he is working for century ambulance. i called to get his side of the story. i wanted to see if you wanted about it. he has not called me back. two school resource officers were punished for not doing a thorough investigation into exactly what happened. one of the boys, the one in red, was arrested. police say he would not have been arrested if the school resource officers had watched this surveillance video. now, the charges against the student were dropped.

afternoon. good afternoon, everyone. we have beautiful conditions out there yet again. i mean, this weather pattern has been so quiet for us and it stays that way through the weekend, i think. rain showers not like what they saw yesterday, but a few showers south of us, i'll say west palm southward, and that's just about it. for us filtered sunshine. the gulf water is 76 degrees. i think it will come up with a degree or two over the weekend. a gorgeous sunrise out it's just about 82, 83 degrees at our beaches this afternoon. 84 in sarasota. 79 in st. pete. low 80s for polk county. anywhere from 80 to 82 degrees. new tampa about 82, and tampa itself checking in with 84 right now. winds still up. it's like the last couple of days, but a nice breeze. gusts have been in the 20s. we had a wind advisory for the skyway. it stayed open and it's open right now. but just because that center

i don't think it's gonna close the bridge. the winds should come down through the evening hours. friday night plans? head on out. it's gonna be fantastic out there weather-wise. falling through the 70s all evening long. and then, in fact, 3:00, 4:00 in the morning before we get to the upper 60s and most of us will bottom out at 67 to 70 degrees starting saturday morning. nice and dry all the way through. here is the forecast model. let's take a look at both saturday and sunday. so this goes through the afternn look at this. mostly sunny skies. i do think we will see a few more high clouds like we have seen today, but 85 degrees after starting in the upper 60s. we will go back down to the upper 60s early sunday morning, and then sunday afternoon, there you go, another beautiful day. very isolated shower chance lake placid southward, tampa, lakeland, hudson, springhill will be fine. we will be topping out about 86 degrees and we will have a little less wind around for your sunday. now, keep in mind the allergy
