we are located right along the 4400 block of sedgwick street in northwest d.c. d.c this is the home that caught ono fire early this morning aroundrn 3:00 a.m.00 a.m. it's an all brick home so a lott of the damage is inside and firefighters spent some timee tm just moments ago clearing outleu the debris from the room where w the victim was found on that tha second floor there. we saw burnt mattress beings bei tossed out.toed o some sheets, a lot of the t windows on the front side and a back of this home are busted.. again, we still don't know whatt caused this fire.ushi when we first got here, theree,e were multiple units on scene.ne. firefighters got the call arounn 3:00 a.m. and when they got herr they found heavy fire conditioni on the first and second floordlo and we're told by the batallion chief that it appeared as if tht fire started from the ground up firefighters were able to to quickly knock the fire down and bring the male victim outside where they did perform cpr and d did what they could to save his life.fe sadly it just it wasn't enough.g they transported him to theed he hospital where he was pronounced
