this weekend. let's go to kellie cowan joining us from one of the early voting locations. how has the turn out been today, el. >> it's been impressive. it's been busy here. the polls are still open for another hour or so today and thn they'll open back up from 7:00 o seven again tomorrow. so far at last check, more than 17,000 voters voted early today in hillsborough county alone. now, when you combine that with mail-in ballots that been counted, that accounts for about 13 percent of registered voters in hillsborough county have already voted early. there's 16 early voting locatios in this county and the beautiful thing about voting early is that unlike on election day, registered voters can actually o to any location of their choice. workers at early polling locations will print out your ballot and you can employed and vote without the long lines we see every year on election day. now, voters i spoke to today sad

high clouds around today, and it should be a beautiful sunset tonight as our sunlight goes through some of the high cirrus clouds, and this is the time of year that we start having some wind above us. in the summertime, the jetstream is way up. in canada you start moving through october, november, you get some high clouds, you start getting some jetstream winds above us and some high cirrus blowing in from the gulf of mexico. can you believe it was 11 ago today that category 3 hurricane made landfall down by cape romano, then moved across the everglades and really impacted fort lauderdale and wet palm, lots of damage. we have not seen a major hurricane make landfall in the united states since then. 11 years ago, and i mean, sooner or later our luck is going to rn out and as close as matthew came to our east coast as a category,
