in between hours today i showed you the high was 85. in between the hourly data. we get temperatures at the top of the hour sometimes -- often the high temperature is not the hourly temperature and we hit 87 today in between that. look at the string here at the beginning of november. 87, 88, 86, 87 run being a half dozen degrees above the average. it was not a record today. if you were watching yesterday i sa data between now and the end of the year you're going to see a lot of the record highs last year. here's another one. it was 92 degrees on this date last year. we've got a ways to go. many more record highs that i showed you last year. last year was ridiculous. today 87. and the morning low 66 and it was 36 degrees on this day back in 1966.
