11:32 pm
>> i think the offensive line has done a good job. we can definitely play better. we used this little mini bye-week to do a lot of work studying ourselves. we definitely can play better. >> it's not only injuries to running backs that slow down the progress. they have key injuries all over their roster, which is exposing the real problem. a lack of quality depth. kevin o'donnell, fox 13 sports. >> we have good news. jameis winston and mike were back on the practice field today. >> thank you so much. before we go, thanksgiving is not quite here, but already disney kicked off the official holiday season. >> never too early, right? today was the return of mickey's very merry christmas party, and every night the gang from "frozen" transforms cinderella as castle into a ice palace and they have a new show called a

between division or unity. >> hillary clinton and donald trump deliver their closing argument. >> hillary clinton is dope. she knows it. the fbi knows it. >> voters render their verdict tomorrow night. tonight with have the final projection and we put the candidates to the test. we sit down with marco rubio. patrick murphy and former governor kris. and john will son his view on the election. this is money, power & politics. okay merissa. here we go. let's start with the fox 13 poll numbers just in hot off the press. what do you see? >> it looks like trump is gaining a little bit of support. a little bit of ground here in the state of florida. he's only down by two percentage points. we have hours until election dy. just an hour and a half at this
11:37 pm
from independents and 45 and older. >> let's look at the national projections. it favors hillary clinton according to the fox desk. when you count the states leaning clinton have more than the 270 needed in order to win. merissa, what does trump have to do? >> he needs to change one of those blue states red. that's what he's got to do. he's not going to gain enough even with the toss up states. >> he's looking at michigan. that's because you don't have maybe anything goes. clinton underperforming across the nation among african americans and manufacturing losses trump hopes that can help him. he spent the day starting in sarasota. it's all about florida. from there north carolina, pennsylvania and new hampshire. again, closed off the night campaigning with mike pence in michigan. >> meanwhile, hillary clinton's campaign team was spread out across the country. the nominee was in pennsylvania
11:38 pm
two states that are leaning democrat at this point. she capped off the final day om campaigning in north carolina as the selection season winds down. >> you have this coming november surprise. he takes back what he took back. a little confusing. that helps clinton clearing her. on the flip side you have donald trump maybe benefits from this because it has more people losing faith in the fbi and losing faith in government. you have a very big senate race. that's where we head after comey's decision. it presidential race and the senate races, as well. in the florida senate race of you rubio who said choice things about donald trump along the way. that's where i picked up my interview with him. >> in the race you made a powerful case against donald trump in the course of endorsing him. here's the part i want you to address. how can you say that donald trump cannot be trusted with the nuclear codes. and with that concern still be willing to vote for him? >> well, for me the primary is over and the voters
11:39 pm
it's a binary choice. hillary clinton is the most dishonest person to run for a president in a quarter century. >> with hillary clinton you have concerns about trust and believe there would be a policy agenda that would take the nation in the wrong direction. with trump you're worried about nuclear codes which could heighten the risk of the end of the world. does that the not override the concerns about hillary clinton? >> no. my concerns aren't just about issues. hillary clinton is the only person running for president who has mishandled and misused >> you've said you standby your concerns about trump not being trusted with the nuclear codes. does that mean you think there would be a heightened risk of a nuclear attack with trump as opposed to clin someone to >> again, hillary clinton is the only person running for president that mishandled classified information. >> round and round we go. rubio led in our fox 13 poll for months. >> his opponent murphy will not admit he's the underdog. that was clear when he sat down we van.
11:40 pm
week ago or so. you pulled in even some of them. do you feel you're the underdog. my first race against allen west dating four years ago. we were in a very competitive race. we werout spent four to one, five to one. you see the brothers and the right wing special interest are trying to distract. >> why do you think hillary clinton seems to be three or four points nosed ahead. >> our id is universal saz donald trump and rubio. he ran for president. spending the last several years running for president. i'm a congressperson and have been running for the senate since march of last year. my name id is maybe 60%.
11:41 pm
history as a cpa. as you sited in your own arguments you made during this campaign, they say maybe you went a little bit too far in saying they cleared you in overstating your credentials. do you owe anybody an apology for the way you characterize your experience? >> no. i am a cpa. there's no two ways about it. you are or you aren't. i am a cpa. plain and simple. >> a lot of to vote for president can have a big affect on the senate race. >> that's why evan clenched the numbers to find out what impact trump versus clinton can have on rubio versus murphy. >> how is this for a republican ticket in florida. tell us how you can support donald trump now after all this. after calling him a dangerous con ar cyst. >> i said aisle support the republican nominee. hillary clinton can't be president. that's how bad she is. that said, bottom line is my
11:42 pm
i standby evering i said. awkward. rubio needs trump's supporters to help him beat patrick murphy. assume the polls are right and hillary clinton is going to win florida on november 8th. >> it'll be close. florida is always going to be close. there's a large number of people locked in on both sides. >> what does that mean for rubio? will florida support a democrat for president and a republican for senate? since 1964, there are only two cases of presidential candidate from one party and a senator from the other. in 2000, republican george w. bush won florida bay smij. while gnat nelson won his first term by five points. in 1992, republican george h. w. bush won florida electoral votes and graham won his second term. 2000 was barely a gop win and bob graham was an institution.

being dragged down by trump's rhetoric with several groups key to his base. a september poll showed trump with a 28% approval rating mons hispanics and behind hillary clinton by 30 points in rubios home county. while rubio as toout perform trump among those groups rubio needs those who vote for trump to pull the lever for him. a tough predictment considering his stance on immigration. hard rubio works to keep trump's voters close. while also distancing himself from what trump says in hopes of keeping his coalition together. >> have any cracks opened in your pledge to support the republican nominee? >> i made a pledge to support the nominee. i'm going to do that. you can do that and have strong reservations. >> if rubio can win, even with trump's baggage, it would

merissa and craig. also a pleasure. we've known each other quite a while. i'm happy to be here. i like its fox 13. we're running in district 13. >> it's been a tough race and you have congressman jolly who criticized you with your prior relationship with donald trump for accepting contributions from him in the past as saying trump was good for florida. put it in context. how was trump good for florida and do you regret accepting contributions from trump? >> he's given to evyb republicans, democrats, independents, it's what he does. >> to the point that you said he was good for florida, what did you mean by that at the time and do you think he was? >> he has a significant hotel in palm beach county. now he has one in miami-dade. those employ a lot of people. jobs are good for people. >> jolly attacked you for promoting changing in the 90s. why did you support them and would you change anything now? >> i believe in justice, merissa.
11:47 pm
the state senate and we passed that and the 85% law that criminals would have to serve at least 85% of their sentence instead of the only 20% they were serving at the time. florida then was number one in violent crime in america. >> what if the primary shot back up to the 90s levels. would you consider chain gangs in any form? >> i don't think it would be necessary. i don't. i think you have to have laws on the books that exhibited in a clear convincing way there are consequences to your actions when you violate the when you kill one of our senior citizens or break into their home. these aren't funny things. this is not a laughing matter. my opponents using it in a rational context. he couldn't be more wrong. it's a safety issue. >> social security not financially stable what would you change about that? >> it's fairly financially stable. it can be more so. what i talked about during the campaign. one of the first bills i'd like to introduce if i have the

more than $118,000 a year, where the cap is right now, would be included and have to participate and help paw for social security. if we lifted the cap, as they say, and those who earn more than 118 thousand dollars, social security would be solvent virtually forever. >> taung for your time. >> good to be with you. please vote. >> he has an advantage because the district favors incumbent and that carries an advantage. >> but jolly says the national republicans cut hymn off for his position on campaign finance reform. welcome congressman jolly. thank you ffr joining us. >> great to be with you. >> where do we start? >> let's start with a bang here. you've previously said that donald trump is unfit to be president. where do you substantiate stand on that today? >> i'm not supporting mr. trump.
11:49 pm
people who are. i have strong policy differences with mr. trump. for me i won't be supporting him on tuesday. but i encourage everybody to get out and vote for who you think is right for america. and for a lot of people that means donald trump. >> kasich wrote in john mccain's name. who are you voting for? >> i'm in that basket of millions of americans struggling. >> have you decided? >> i haven't. that's reality. i shared with somebody recently a paper reporter. this isn't a of people in the bay area struggling with two historically unfavorable candidates. i know people have chosen. i don't know what i'm going to do. that's honest truth. >> about medical marijuana? >> what i said about marijuana is when the fda approves it for medicinal purposes i support it. we don't approve medicines on the ballot. i don't want voters approving cough medicine or marijuana for
11:50 pm
minimum wage. >> index it and get the politicians out. the wage floor should not be dependent on which political party controls congress. if i thought we could raise it without reducing jobs. let's do it. but we walk into a mcdonald's and see a kiosk not an employee. it's cheaper. i want to raise wages as high as we can in a manner that allows for job >> you want to protect benefits for everybody in the work force today. what about student who is are not yet in the world of work? how much would you cut their benefits? >> i don't think we feed to cut. listen, i broke against my own party. i voted against the ryan budget and other budgets. democratic bunlts as well. but for the generation about to enter the work force social security will be the best in the world but it might look
11:51 pm
is it a safety net program? do we raise contribution limits to two, three hundred thousand dollars. make everybody contribute. math is math. if we extract the politics out we can reach a reasonable compromise. i learned in three years the solution, the long term solutions to social security do in the rest on either side of the aisle. they are in the middle. i'm willing to reach consensus on that as we protect benefits for the retirees now and those in the work force you for your time. >> great to be with you. >> coming up john wilson gives us his take on the race

i'm hillary clinton and i approve this message. this is jon wilson's my view now. >> please welcome john will son again. you lived in pinellas county. >> the districts have been the last twenty years. this district is going to be an interesting fight. now it includes many democrats. it didn't before. now charley crist has a shot. jolly did a good job. he served twenty years and knows the district better than anybody. the two of them together make for an interesting pair. their debate was really a hard
11:54 pm
don't like to see people snapping at each other like that. it was brutal. charley got after dave and dave got after charley. you know, i think what's going to happen here, craig, is it's going to depend on the moovment for donald trump. republicans like democrats have to vote. many of them have a history in their older years of not voting. in some cases voting. now they've got to vote. donald trump can turn out a huge republican vote. i think jolly is going to win. if on the other hand, it's a prohillary vote then charley would win this. >> it's going to be close. >> it's going to be close no matter who wins. thisser well known. charley in particular being the former governor. >> what about the other race statewide. rubio versus murphy?
11:55 pm
that surprises me. murphy has been able to show such a powerful turnout here, at i don't believe polls. rs. - but they are a slight indicator and they can change a lot. you don't put faith in these polls but they are something to at least talk about. it does show something because we don't know exactly whose polled and are they really going to vote or qualified to vote. we don't know all the time. sometimes we do. rubio has a problem and murphy has been able to capitalize on it because marco rubio focused his career on running for president and missed all those senate days because he was out campaigning. he said he didn't like it in the senate. i couldout campaign rubio, i think based on his lack of the u.s. senate when running for president. >> that's right. then murphy who is in the particularly well known.
