searching for 2 men who held up the u-d-f at dixie highway and mt. zion. we're told they were armed...but it's not clear if they got away with anything. but police were tracking footprints through the snow, with the help of a k-9 officer. no one was hurt. a trial date is expected to be set today for a former uc police officer...charged with murder... rob dblbx jessica brown is live at the courthouse....and jessica...do you know if ray tensing will have to appear this morning? well what's next is setting a trial date for the former uc police officer..and that will happen this morning the hearing where we will find that information out is set for 9 o clock hear at the court house. vo ray tensing is charged with the murder and involuntary manslaughter in the death of sam dubose who he pulled over for a mising license plate back in july. the whole encounter was caught on tensing's body camera.

maryland governor larry hogan is ordering flags be flown at half staff this morning -- after two deputies are shot and killed during an altercation with a suspect outside of a restuarant. authorities say 67- year-old david brian evans shot one deputy then shot the second deputy who was responding to the call. evans was later killed in a shootout with law enforcement. this morning... following a shoot-out at a shopping center. investigators say the first deputy was responding to a call inside a panera bread, when he was shot by the suspect... who then fled the restaurant. a second depty responding to the scene was also shot. both officers were taken to the hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
