"he's the maintenance man of the apartment buildings." police records say royal allegedly held his girlfriend and her two small children against their will at gunpoint for 14 hours, starting thursday night until noon the next day. that's when the reports say the victims saw the opportunity to escape and call police. "it's horrifying. you always hear about horrific things like this happening but when it happens right next door to where you're living at it brings it much closer to home." more details from the police report says the 10 month old need immediate surgery, after sustain head injuries from the day before to correct the bleeding. a neighbor said royal made a doorway through adjacent closets to again access to his girlfriend's apartment we knocked on both doors but no one answered. police are investigating a shooting in west price hill. this shooting happened late this afternoon on trenton avenue. we're told the victim was found outside of his car with multiple gunshot wounds. emergency crews rushed him to u-c medical center for surgery and he is expected to survive. police have not released the victim's name or any information about possible suspects. a norwood caretaker is under arrest tonight, charged with an unthinkable crime. police say this man, timothy bray, is

returning to work after a month-long break for chinese new year made the disturbing discovery late last week. officials say the woman had been trapped inside since late january and starved to death. the lift had been taken out of service after workers had "confirmed" that no one was inside... but they apparently only shouted to check if anyone was inside and did not open it to verify. one worker is in custody. an oklahoma woman comes home to her dog bleeding on the front porch and a note from a deputy saying he'd shot him. this is bruno. his story has caught the eye of thousands online. the deputy, who was investigating shots into a nearby home says bruno tried to attack him. the family says bruno is not aggressive and did nothing wrong. since bruno's story hit the internet, the deputy has received hateful phone calls and threats. bruno will lose his leg, but is expected to recover. they're still below

accused of violating northgate mall's new policy for juveniles. police say mall officials warned deiondre edward riley of the new restrictions and asked riley and his friends to leave the mall yesterday, but he refused. officers say he became belligerent,
