and others say he will watch anything but the debate. carol: an upstate district is deciding wheth downsize, wyff news 4's mandy gaither has more on what their decision would mean for students. mandy: in anderson school district 4, officials are considering whether or not to go from six schools down to five, which could mean major changes for schools like mount lif anderson school district 4 downsizes, there would be a savings of up to $1.5 million per year, says superintendent dr. joanne avery. >> we haven't grown but 18 students in 10 years. it's been very stable. mandy: with little growth avery , says the district could very easily operate with five schools. there are n the table right now. first, turn pendleton elementary into a middle school, which would call for mount lebanon to be paid for by the penny sales tax income. >> in addition, we would have to

in addition -- do and addition to house special education programs currently in pemandy: option two, move riverside middle to mount lebanon elementary, which would also require renovation. in both options elementary , students would shift other nearby elementary schools. avery says another driving force behind this, are the district's 6th graders, all of whom are currently at the elementary schools, which cuts down on instructional time because of the elementary schedule. the district would like to move those students back to the middle school, but avery says riverside middle has no room for them as it is now. >> what we really want from the community now is to understand there's no decision. we want you at the table. we want to hear your voice. mandy: avery says no one will lose their job with the district of the transition happens. for a list of the upcoming public meetings, go to our

there's all the desserts, and all the cornbread. and this year, the meals on wheels made the cornbread, and everybody pitched in in some way. it's a great way to build community. carol: father jack hardaway says meals on its 40th anniversary, and started out all those years ago at grace, making meals in the church's kitchen. michael: are comes the dirt. it takes a lot of setup, and lot of dirt, to get bon secours wellness arena ready for this weekend's monster jam 2016. the shows start tomorrow night, and runs through saturday night. the trucks are about 12 feet tall and 12 feet wide, generating about 1500 to 2,000 horsepower each. they can fly. 35 feet into the air. but to do that, you have to build a track. the arena opens up its roof and breezeways during the show, so it gets a little chilly. make sure to bundle up if you're going. >> everybody is responsible for success.
