stops, robo calls, voters head to the polls today to make sure their folk it's counted. good morning. i myra ruiz. gabrielle: i'm gabrielle komorowski. pamela: much warmer than yesterday morning. 15 degrees warmer in asheville, hendersonville. you seem even warmer in henderson, 15-20 degrees warmer than yesterday. where does that put you? 48 in greenwood. 47 in abbeville. 46 in anderson. mild for our february morning. clemson, easy at 46. pickens at 46.

the breeze will be out of the south and west. we will have clouds. despite the lack of sun today, temperatures will continue to warm up. by lunchtime, in the mid-50's. we won't stop there. here is your view this morning. plenty of clouds. no rainmakers just yet. as the day goes on, we will have a slingshot of picking up some showers in the mountains. mainly tried stay for us. temperatures warming up as the southerly wind picks up, and even more out of the southwest. we do have very light

we are right across greenwood tech. there are two different groups right now. these folks are waiting for the polls to open, just a couple of minutes running behind. there is a group waiting for jeb bush to arrive. he will be greeting voters here. again, expect to cover right around 7:00. they can't be too close to the popoing location. take a look at this video yesterday. before today's election, hundreds had already cast absentee ballots. more than 5000 absentee ballots were turned in greenwood alone. we talked to some of those people casting the ballots. >> it was very nice today. i was probably in line for five minutes, voted. it was quick and easy.

finally we are getting the list down to where you can learn something about the to the candidates. >> i voted for ted cruz. everything he says, i pretty much agree with. aly: several of those voters also told us there was a sense of relief knowing that their part was done, at least for the time being. again, if you would like to vote today, right around 7:00. i have covered a number of elections. this is the first time i have seen a line like this for a primary election. myra: thank you. if you are heading out to vote today we have a few reminders , for you. to vote, if your voter registration card doesn't have your picture on it, you will need a state issued id or federal military id. if you have not registered to vote yet, you will not be allowed to cast a ballot todayay also, in south carolina you are only allowed to vote in either the republican or democratic

you can't vote in both. we have a sample of today's gop ballot and next week's democratic ballot on our website and mobile app. according to the last poll released before today's primary, the big question tonight is who will be in second place. it is also showing a big swath of undecided voters out there. clemson released its latest palmetto poll yesterday. a survey of south carolinians who've voted in at least two of the past three state primaries. donald trump leads the field with 28%, followed by ted cruz 15%. in the poll, 13% were still undecided. last fall, the palmetto poll showed trump as the leader, with ben carson coming in at a strong second. gabrielle: as they made their last push to today, several of the republican candidates spent time in the upstate. yesterday senator marco rubio was joined by governor nikki haley d senator tim scott, they held a rally in clemson last night.
