again, two dead people in the suv. a third person detained. now, it's unclear at this time if that person is related to the mass shooting. there was a lot of implication tonight, particularly just from the news reporting of what was going on, and from people watching law enforcement activity in and around this neighborhood in san bernardino. it seemed that they were searching for another suspect who was on the loose. it seemed at one point that they were doing a house-to-house serge, but we now have definitive word from the san bernardino police department, that the two people in the suv were dead. the third person who they were looking for near the sight of the suv shooting has been detained. police are not saying whether or not that person was involved in either the gun battle at the suv or the massacre, the begun marks at the inland regional center this morning, but importantly, police are also not saying the total number of suspects they believed committed that crime. so, with or without this third person in custody, this third person deta

early reports indicate as many as three shooters and late night, police engage with two suspects in an suv not that far from where the initial shooting happened. those suspects, man and woman are dead. a third person was detained nearby, no information yet as to whether that person is linked to the attack. nbc news is reporting that one of the suspects in today's shooting was syed farook, born june 1987, another possible suspect is believed to be syed farook's brother. fbi raid began earlier this evening, as far as we know is still under way at a residence in the city of red lantds in san bernardino county. public records show that a man called syed farook is the current resident of that home. also, a man called syed farook is listed for working for the department of public health, divisional of environmental health services. it is not confirmed whether it is the same syed farook who is considered a suspect in today's mass shooting. during a press conference this evening, authorities did not rule out a workplace dispute nor ruled out terrorism. here's how san bernardino police chief descri
