today i will share the story on the life of marine corporal adrian robols of scotts bluff, nebraska. adrian was known throughout scotts bluff for his big smile. his older sister, beatrice remembers it this way. as soon as he smiled, even if you were mad at him, you would stop and have to smile. behind that big smile, though, was a tough young man. more than anything, adrian wanted to be a marine. this longing to serve his country was a point of pride and tradition in adrian's family. his grandfather, pedro torres served as a fighter pilot in world war ii. pedro's stories of service and adventure inspired adrian's quest to become a marine and their bond was a source of joy throughout the family. as adrian's father caesar recalls, he loved his grandpa so much. he was a hero to him. when he was 16, adrian approached his parents and told them that he wanted to be a marine. he didn't want to wait. he even prepared a waiver for them to sign which would have allowed adrian to join the corps when he turned 17. while they admired the passion in their young son, adrian's parents stood firm. the

adrian was, we get into the general election. we're running against a democrat scott klebb. an for senate two years later. promoting background with his family ranch and work he had done on his grandparents ranch in western nebraska. adrian is from town. those from rural parts, i'm from rural southeastern ohio. i didn't live on a farm. adrian is same kind of person. always lived in town. if you're from rural parts of the area, that means, you're not exactly same kind of we talked about his numbers. lower taxes. less government regulation. we talked about pro-life views. one of the most pro-life districts in america. we take survey 2 1/2 weeks to go in the election and we're tied. democrats did a survey at the same time, and released it and showed us down one point. we're back now reevaluating what we're going to do in the campaign. we go back to the basics say, what have we missed? what is it about this campaign we've not done in terms of connecting to voters of this district? and this was the positive ad that we ran to trito reach adrian to the basic values of the district.
