steven seahouse and back with me dagen mcdowell, ryan payne and kelly torrance. good to have you back this morning. how significant is the news on remdesivir? when would you expect it to get approved by the fda? >> it's very significant. it's basically the first large successful clinical trial certainly u.s.-based that we've had for covid-19. i think emergency use authorization specifically could happen very soon, within days. that's not a traditional fda approval. that pathway would take a little longer and the standard's a little bit higher and i'm actually not sure the level of evidence we have right now for remdesivir would meet that standard. it may. it may not. there are more clinical trials underway that we'll get data for in may as well. i think something could happen very quickly with respect to emergency use authorization. that's exciting, because it gives us something to use in hospitalized patients with covid. but full fda approval i think it's a little too premature to discuss, given the fact that results frankly have been mixed. the naiid study was
