it's two parts one is called richie's neighborhood and richie's neighborhood is a simulated street stage and it simulates a small city and it demonstrates children how to learn how to walk on streets, there's traffic lights, there's cars backing out of the garage, it's really wonderful. it's all tiny it's like a little city and they can learn how to walk safely to school, and then the other one aces adventure this one's a great video game that's afforded to students and children at an elementary level it's specifically designed to teach children safety on streets while they're walking to school and walking from school, for instance, if they're approached by a stranger or something hazardous like that, so i would like to play a video if it's alright with you folks and i got the video clip here. richie and mr. rodriguez for coming out today. this is a really important issue that we are dealing with in the state. next tuesday at the board of supervisors i will be introducing a resolution urging the state legislature to provide drought mitigation funding for the critical water supply for the san francisco bay area. they are considering leveraging $640 million for the drought and the drought area we are requesting for the san francisco water supply project and the lower cherry aqueduct restoration project and install toilet program which are important priorities which mr. richie mentioned. i hope we'll continue to work hand in hand and submit this to the board. my office will be submitting this at the board of supervisors meeting on tuesday and we want to continue to work with you to address any concerns to protect our water supply and look towards the future and make good decisions about our infrastructure in order to make sure san francisco has it's water supply intact and available for it's residents, not only in san fran

steve richie, assistant water manager. i'm going to provide a presentation where wear now and where we will be going forward regarding this. there's obviously been a lot of recent activity going on. october 30, the board of supervisors approved a resolution regarding the bay delta water area control plan that was the subject of much discussion. on november 2, the mayor vetoed that resolution, which was a few days after that. and then, on november 6, governor brown and lieutenant governor new some sent a letter deferring action on the water quality control plan to december 12 with the purpose of hopefully providing additional guidance with the possible settlements. so in a short period of time, there was lots of discussion, but the ultimate action was the state water board elected to defer action and continue the item until december 12 in anticipation of further developments regarding negotiated settlements, and so those settlement discussions are going on now in different arenas. those are covered by nondisclosure agreemen
