triple shooting that left two people dead in broadmoor near daley city. police are now searching for a third suspect, a female. the shooting took place sunday i the parking lot of the hillside market. two people were killed in that shooting. vanessa gilroy and michael garcia. a third person suffered nonlife-threatening injuries. >>> a child hit and killed by a car just crossing the street in berkeley. this morning his father led a rally to push for improved safety traffic. amy hollyfield is live at the intersection with the latest. >> reporter: hi. the family has never done this before on the anniversary, but berkeley police say they keep getting complaints about people rolling through this intersection where zachary died. they say they also average about one injury accident a day here in berkeley from car accidents. so, the family decided to use this anniversary to make a statement.

working on unconfirmed continues for different law enforcement agencies including pacifica police, a daley cityn mateo sheriff's office. they are working on unconfirmed reports of a homicide and one person who is in critical condition. nbc bay area's skyranger is also above the scene as we speak and as the investigation continues, you can see that crime scene which remains taped off. we have not yet heard official word from law enforcement, but i did speak to someone who lives nearby who says he knows at least one of the victims. he told me it appears to be a domestic violence conflict between a woman and her ex-husband. what we did hear from pacifica police was a post this morning. it happened before 10:00. it reads there is an active police investigation in valomar. we are asking residents to avoid the area. the suspect is not in the area and there is no immediate threat to the public safety in the pacifica community. one of the biggest streets in the neighborhood was on lockdown for much of the morning. apart from naomi street still remains that way. schools in pacifica were on lockdown incl
