ktvu medicaid, tana's live at the district office with the decision change and how teachers are feelingut all this, amanda yeah, well, teachers are feeling relief this morning. hundreds of those teachers say that for the last few months they felt like they were in limbo. they were not sure if they would still have jobs now. back in january, the school board announced that they might have to lay off more than 200 people to close a $125 million budget deficit for the year. they said that was caused by a decline in students over the years and many families choosing to leave san francisco during the pandemic. the reductions were set to be in services like cantonese bilingual instruction. k through 12 counseling and social services more than 300 preliminary layoff notices were sent out in march. but at a meeting last night, the board unanimously voted to reduce the layoffs to just 20. 15 of those are administrators that could be rehired next year or already have been rehired. now of the five teachers for our in the j rotc program, and one is a japanese language teacher. the resolution. that
