we have snow on the ground in detroit. this is nothing compared to what some people are waking up to as americans are dealing with the aftermath of the brutal week unfortunately, this stretch is deadly from coast to coast. 59 deaths related to the weather since january 12th. tennessee has seen 19 deaths. the death toll is climbing as this scene played on the virginia roadway on friday. the small single engine plane landed on the roadway. there were no reports of injuries. further north, philadelphia was under a snow emergency yesterday. 5 inches of snow falling on the city of brotherly love. that is nothing on buffalo, new york. 9 inches falling yesterday with snow trickling in there this morning. that area seeing 31 inches of snow. hopefully they have enough time to dig out the bills stadium this week before the next playoff game. fans last week were going to the stadium and kicked off that game with snow on the ground. thankfully for lions fans in detroit, that stadium is indoors. something we can be thankful for. >> jes
