[applause] >> in doing so, i will rely heavily on the guidance and mentorship of guy reck feller. [applause] >> and of course through all my experience serving at the governor's mansion having worked so closely to governor mansion. i was able to see first firsthand the level of commitment, passion that it takes to be an effective public service. it is that level of dedication that i have to take with me to washington. it will not be easy. and it will be a lot of challenges ahead and a lot to learn in a very short period of time. but i'm confident that i'm up to the challenge because i know i can count on the support of my family and my dad who will be looking down, senator rockefeller and the entire delegation, my friend governor mansion and most -- governor machin and most importantly the people of west virginia. i'm excited about the challenge.
