this is not advertising but this is an industry standard this is a simpson a 35 it's a big one. this in the picture is an a 34 it's a little smaller. you want to put a 35 or a 34, nail it to the blocking and nail it to the top of the double top plate. put one of these this is conservative at 12 inches on center or 1 clip at every block. all right. at least one clip for every block or 12 inches on center. here's the condition where the mud sill is wider than the studs. okay. so you nailed down new sills sill pieces to the top of the wide mud sill and you have installed an anchor bolt through both sills. when you install the plywood it's nailed to the stud and nailed to the edge of the new sill. tell not be nailed to the edge of the mud sill because the mud sill is too wide. the plywood is nailed to the sill there and the studs. i wanted to clarify that. you will run to electric and plumbing lines you want to unclip those, you may need to hire a plumber if it's difficult but most times you can take the clips off, pull out the pipes a bit and get your plywood under that. don't be p
