what unnerves me and gives me problems is the president's first statements about this, when he said, "have we come to this," using to trash all energy thrust, and not try to redistribute the wealth, but apparently trying to destroy the world if it is involved in the energy business, not to -- apparently trying to destroy the wealth it is involved in the energy business we need to be producing our own energy through the bill from several years ago that included not just a drilling, but all of the above. these unanswered questions that should serve to advise against temptation to over react to the disaster, especially given the importance of the oil and gas industry to the gulf coast economy and america's energy dependence goals. i am troubled by the rushed to pass legislation on this. these bills will not solve the ongoing problems in the gulf. i believe we need to reevaluate the safety procedures and drilling procedures to fix what went wrong and make sure it does not happen again. that is what i am told these investigations are doing as we speak only once we know exactly what happen
