in town, we are currently in the low 60s. sunrise at 7:28 this morning. we just haven't cooled off a whole lot overnight, at least not here in town. 61degrees here in town. a little cooler off to the north and west, frederick is 46. manassas is 55. our winds have shifted and they are out of the south. it will be breezy at times. high pressure off the coast right here and that will continue to keep us warm for much of the week. notice out to the west, a lot of cloud cover and some rain showers, maybe even a few showers and thunderstorms developing along this little piece of energy that will be moving through later today. we'll have scattered showers, maybe a thunderstorm later today. it won't be a washout today. we'll see some scattered showers return during the afternoon. about 6:00, you can see the scattered nature of the showers. it is possible we could have a thunderstorm in this relatively unstable air for this time of year. we'll clear it out temporarily although clouds will hold tight for the next couple of days. lots of clouds out there. there will be some periods of sunshine. mild temperatures with a high about 73
