watch the fog develop, calvin, roswell elementary school, glen oak, this is the scene across many sectionsn the thermometer, officially 8 in baltimore. just a tad lower, at 46. they have fog advisories and school delays on the eastern shore. advisories back towards the d.c. area as well. just a little cooler. the fog that much thicker. while we expect the push of warm air to come through with this warm front, that may spread more fog across our area. cool damp easterly flow this morning. on the other side of that boundary, that's where the warm-up is. we'll get into the warm-up the next couple days. you'll probably hear about this on good morning america, there's heavy snow and feet of snow across the colorado rockies, they had the ice problem with nearly 400 accidents across minnesota yesterday. while we expect to have periodic rain coming through, we'll have a taste of winter coming up next weekend. we'll turn warmer tonight. we'll pull it back down to 45. low 50s wednesday. real rain comes in on friday. falling temperatures and maybe a snow shower on saturday. >> we're starting to see f

glen oak sunny scenario there. just partly, well some of the trees are partly covered with that fall foliage, but not as much as we had just even a week ago. so, less and less trees on the leaves, but other than that fall's kind of stalled out right now. in fact, very little wind. temperatures now around 50 degrees. 53 hagerstown. 46 in winchester, and easton at 63. so, warmer on the shore and in fact highs today well above 60 everywhere even though we started off in the upper 20s from york back through frederick. so this was really a chilly start with a rapid rebound, and this very dry air that's in place over maryland, it cools off very quickly it warms up so rapidly. tomorrow we should push 70 in easton mid-60s for kent island. up the bay we're looking at 60s and sunny scenario again tomorrow and again sunday and even early monday i think we could see more sunshine, but by monday night into tuesday that's when we do look for a pattern shift, a wholesale shift in the weather pattern. you don't see any sign of it

this is glen oak. 48 on the thermometer and one thing i wanted to point out. see the high, thin cloud in the skies? the clouds are beginning to roll into the region and will dominate as we head through lunchtime and the afternoon. we were following this, the gust we had the longer arrows for the stronger winds. they ease up a little bit this afternoon and we get the push of cold air by daybreak tomorrow. a northwesterly flow. and gusty winds will actually usher in cooler air until we get to the weekend. we start off cool on saturday but the winds direction comes from the southwest. and that will actually help boost temperatures on the upward swing. cloud watch them just rolling into baltimore right now. denser cloud cover to the west rain further to the west. there's a quick moving system spinning its wheels on into the ohio and tennessee river valley. that one and this is where it was earlier this morning. you can see the progress it made. it got a cold front that is going to be trailing behind it that's going to usher in the chilly air. storm track to the so

this is glen oak.better. 43, winds west, northwest, gusting as high as 16 miles an hour and while we're watching the band of clouds shrink up here it's because that northwest flow which has been quite gusty and breezy overnight is starting to ease up itself. we'll have a pleasant afternoon with the partly cloudy morning going to a mostly sunny afternoon but it will be cool. the 2-degree guaranteed high only 50. staying in the 40s north and west of the beltway but less wind today, clear skies drops us into the 20s overnight and a little recovery this weekend but a very interesting thanksgiving outlook. we'll have more on that, on good morning maryland at 9. a final check on traffic now. >> thanks. earlier delays on the outer loop around harper road have been cleared out and as we look live on the west side at liberty road traffic is moving a lot better. we had an accident blocking the right shoulder and police were on the scene of that but that apparently has been cleared away and as we peek at the map,
