more people getting into fender benders and more people's cars breaking down. let's go outside. i want to show you the east shore freeway. it's busy as you drive to the bay bridge toll plaza. the bridge was the site of an earlier accident. that crash has been removed. the traffic is backed up at the toll plaza for 10-15 minute wait. we are lucky, it could have been much worse. chp and oakland fire got up there. now it looks like a typical backup. nothing worse than that but not bad considering what it could have been. 101 looks good both directions. the road sensors when you see red you can tell it's slowing down. north 10 slow approaching the 680 interchange. >>> cloudy skies. a steady light rain. that looks to be the forecast today. cloudy light rain with an occasional burst. the line is starting to go south now. santa clara valley will be on the southern edge of this and expect less rain. from santa rosa to around peninsula sfo toward concord and livermore that looks to be a steady rainy day. you can see why. there is plenty of moisture out here. we need that system to slide

good near the coliseum but like i have been saying, we have been getting a number of smaller fender-bendersin and it sounds like a lot of these different accidents are on the on- and off-ramps so the main lines of the freeway pretty much unaffected but here's a new one in hayward on the a street off-ramp to northbound 880. we have an accident there and it sounds like a car may have ran into a pole. this is another one, willow road on-ramp remains shut down to northbound 101 along the peninsula. again, traffic not impacted on 101 itself heading up towards sfo for a flight. they have re-opened the westbound 580 central avenue off-ramp after another crash here. this one was involving a chase with the albany police department. so like i said, we have been following a number of accidents across the bay area. even though traffic overall pretty light yesterday it was so light at the bay bridge toll plaza, they went ahead and turned the metering lights off because there never was a public. so fortunately we're good to go right now at the bay bridge, as well. we don't have any wind advisories as tra
