nevada doing the same thing. the justice department. what are we doing about the services, how are we going to clean up this city and correct these problems if we're not going right after the services? that seems to be where the problem lies. >> i'm happy to respond to that, congressman. >> please. >> thank you for the question. you've referred to the activity that is going on by a variety of federal agencies and it's under the auspices of an interagency task force that treasury cochairs. so that is very important work and i think we will see some results of those investigations and i think it will help us figure out what types of reforms are needed, and potentiallyome of those things will be coming before the congress. let me just also, though, respond -- i appreciate the fact that because this program was first announced as a means to purchase troubled assets, and then it became a program where at least, initially, what secretary paulson did under the bush admintration was to invest money in banks, people, were critical of that. and all i would say to that is a couple of things. one, under the circumstances, we had to make that change.
