i think about the case that happened in the mission on april 1 where officers baca and carter were plain clothesed in the middle of the night and responded to an auto burglary. when they get there, they witness an individual in a 2004 nissan. they go to abhend him. they identify themselves as police officers and get in a big fight, big chase with this individual. that resisting arrest p incident was so violent, one of the officers had to go to the hospital. it is an example of the work that our officers are doing every day to address this problem that many people don't even realize. last we have an average auto recovery rate. we are consistently ranked with the top five cities with a population of 250,000 or greater in recovering our vehicles. if i could see that last slide. these are the folks i've folken with in the last few days. i have thanked all of my colleagues for providing me with information. they are experts in this area. i could not have done some nice presentation without their input. with that i'll be more than happy to take questions from you. >> thank you commander lazar.
