we are joined by mike from rapid response team, billy graham. christian organizations are often on the front lines of natural disasters and ready to help sometimes more than governmental organizations. jodie, that was a few hours after i arrived in louisiana, after hurricane katrina, i was amazed at the faith these folks were expressing, almost as if they were glad hurricane katrina happened. they experienced a unity among the church they would never have experienced it before. is that the kind of response you hear? >> definitely, lee. disaster is the church's finest hour. it is the very thing that rallies the community together. not only do church goers and believers, first time in a church's life, they see sinners line up by the droves. doesn't matter if you are christian or non christian, they realize the place of shelter, safety, love and provision is a church. it is rewarding as a christian leader to work with the churches succeed at their community. >> is that your response as well, mike? >> absolutely. and add to that, it is what we are c

always been strong, and no one has been a spiritual adviser to more presidents than the reverend billy grahamthese days it's his son franklin graham who continues his father's crusade preaching to millions around the world. he also serves as the president of samaritan's purse which is an international aid organization that does relief work in the developing world with missionaries. but this easter sunday reverend graham tells us his most pressing concerns lie closer to home inside the souls of americans and at the seat of government. reverend graham, thank you for joining us. easter is an enormously important holiday for christians all around the world. what's the word that you most dearly associate with easter? is it sacrifice, love, what is it? >> it's all of that. it's god's love. it's the sacrifice of jesus christ for me. when i look at easter, i look at my sins and realize that jesus christ paid my debt in full when he died on that cross. he died for me. he died for you, christiane. >> you have also said we live in the time of the anti-christ. how do you reconcile those two? >> i look at

i say, no, if you want to imagine me in college, you can imagine billy graham as a young man. it wasn't quite that. you can imagine charlie sheen as a young man. i was neither of those. somewhere in the happy medium between those two might have been my youth. now, one of the low points in the campaign might have been when on a nationally -- in a nationally televised debate my opponent said or asked, do you now or have you ever worshipped the water deity your god that you call aqua buddha? and it's, like, we had practiced this debate over and over again, no one ever told me that i would have to answer that in a debate. but interesting the question, you know, i don't really remember the aqua buddha. i called my friend in europe, and i said do you remember us doing something with aqua buddha? oh, no, were performance athletes, we would never put anything in our body that would damage our ability to perform athletics. i don't remember that either. i was in leitchfield, kentucky, one day, and a woman comes up to me and grabs me by the hair. and she said, i just wanted to know if it
