time, different time for women, different time for young people. my parents were concerned about everyone knowing their business, but they were also very thankful that i created this opportunity to actually talk about the things that we had dealt with in our family because probably like many of you there certain taboo things you don't talk about in your family. i remember when i see with some of the abuse issues at camp and i called home want to come home, my mom, to for weeks ago said, was that the time when you wanted to come home from camp when you're being abused? i said yeah. she said i'm so sorry. and that enable us to then talk about a few other things, and other things and other things. and my dad, for weeks ago we sat down for breakfast, and he's getting with parkinson's, he's battling his own health right now. you look me in the eye and he said, i'm sorry. i wish i had no. i wish i had been there. that enabled us to say great, like this big weight being lifted off. okay, he gets it now. and then we were able to build on our relationship.
