still ahead, tonight's "word on the street," "security." thestreet.com's james rogers joins us for alook at three stocks focused on cyber security. >> susie: one of the nation's busiest waterways has been shut down to help prevent more flooding. the coast guard closed the mississippi river at the natchez port today, because barges on the water could put more pressure on already strained levees. the interruption could cost the u.s. economy hundreds of millions of dollars a day. as darren gersh reports, the rising water is also putting financial pressure on a national flood insurance program that already faces a huge deficit. >> reporter: thousands of miles have been flooded, and almost too many farms and homes to count. this is widely expected to be the most expensive flood damage since hurricane katrina, with a cost as high as $4 billion. the heritage foundation's david john says the price tag is another example of how federal flood insurance is not priced to reflect the true risk of a loss. >> this program has a monster deficit from hurricane katrina, and it has virtually no chance

in fact, james is joining me from his home in rogers, arkansas. t even know where to begin. we've seen this video here at cnn. it's about 14 minutes long. if you can, one image that you shot, what one image will forever be with you? >> it's probably just that big tank sitting in the road by somebody's house that you just go, where did that come from? and then cars that were compacted to very small. those were unbelievable. >> from what i read, you jumped in the car with one of your nurse friends, you went to the free man health system hospital where you saw -- no one's electricity was working so people were having to take notes by hand at this hospital? >> yeah. like they were saying, mass confusion there but it was orderly. the nurses were writing down people as they could, keeping track of it. what i know is that -- why don't we put it on a laptop? so i helped them create a database for that. >> you also said the most grim aspect of what you saw was seeing the looks on some of these rescue crew faces. we're thinking about lost loved ones and folk

sort of the visit of you in the party yeah but who is organizing who i mean james i want to go to you on this one isn't roger ailes the one that's hiring all of these contributors that then become potential g.o.p. twenty top candidates it really does seem like he has agenda an. behind the scene to try to get these people into the political race. no seriously agenda gender is not necessarily the same agenda as republican politicians i mean look rather than charming to g.-o. few times for i'd say that ailes is actually helping the g.o.p. by drawing away kunis that would end up being unsuccessful back into the fold of fox students you look at the stars of the new law and its people who will ultimately rather not be president they'd rather make some money at fox but do you think that perhaps some of the hosts that we see on the theories that we see on fox news have done a little bit of damage to the republican party to this republican brand because suddenly they've become much more stream in terms of their theories now you're not a real republican candidate if you don't at some point discuss the president's birt
