[speaking foreign language] >> my name is jade wu, a p.r. organizer. i want to first thank you, the mayor, and the supervisors for caring a lot about the welfare of the families. we wanted to tell everybody about the families in chinatown. currently we're in contact with over 400 families in chinatown who live in a s.r. room with children under 18 years old. there are about 550 children 17 and younger in s.r.o.'s. 95% of our families cannot qualify for applying to affordable housing because of the income limitation of the there's no affordable family housing. couldn't even apply to public housing. only very few families can apply for a rental subsidy programs in the city, because their monthly income is around $1,000, and that's how much it takes to rent a one-bedroom apartment in the city. so we're asking the city to support real affordable housing for families in the city of san francisco. thank you. >> so why don't ask our next speaker to please step up. >> good afternoon. my name is michael stager, a representative of a political action committee.
