elizabeth. >> reporter: yeah. good morning, grace. that's right. it's really divided the community here in the bayview district. we are outside the operahouse where they will have a town hall meeting tomorrow evening. the police chief will be here, city officials. it's all so they can get the facts out to the community here, who really is wanting to know answers as to what happened. police say that they have proof that this man, this is 19-year- old kenneth harding, fired at them first. in a news conference, police released audio of what they say was the actual sound of the shootout between police and the suspect saturday night. 10 shots in total. police say the first shot came from harding. the 19-year-old had a long record already convicted of the rape of a minor and attempt to force that 14-year-old into prostitution. now, that is according to seattle prosecutors. seattle police confirmed harding was a person of interest in the murder of a 19- year-old woman just days before he was shot and killed in san francisco. so obviously, a real sense of

let's check traffic with elizabeth. >> thanks. unfortunately we have big problems developing now in sunnyvale. we're talking about a jackknifed big rig right there approaching the lawrence expressway exit in the southbound lanes of 101. now, three lanes are blocked in the southbound direction. no reports of any injuries with this jackknifed rig or what exactly the truck was carrying but we know that traffic is just squeezing by right now partially in that left lane and the center divide. also the on-ramp, the lawrence expressway on-ramp to southbound 101 is completely blocked. 280 is the best alternate in the area. not big backups now but if this continues to be out there for a while which it sounds like it could, chp just issued a traffic alert for that stretch, they will just said that they are hoping to get lanes 30 to 40 minutes after the tow crew arrives arrives son scene. we are waiting for word for when the crew arrives and then it could be 40 minutes from then so this is going to be an issue for the start of the morning co

elizabeth wenger is in san mateo and elizabeth, you have new pictures of the damage? >> we do.nformation a scary wake-up call for these firefighters here in san mateo. we have some video. we just took it a little while ago. this is the damage left behind. you can see the boarded-up rollup door to the firehouse. they repaired it temporarily quickly. but let's go to some video from last night. aroun 10:45, san mateo fire station 27 on de anza boulevard, the suv ran right into the building causing extensive damage not front of the firehouse. also a reserve fire truck was also damaged. now, officials say there were two people inside the suv when it crashed. they were transferred to stanford medical center. we are not sure how badly they were hurt. now, we understand that none of the fires inside the fire was injured. so right now the big question is, it's still not clear why the driver lost control in the first place and rammed right into the building right here at the firehouse. fire service shouldn't be -- this is a backup fire truck that was damaged and the firehouse was damaged
