please join me in welcoming and banking chief jack harris. -- and thanking chief jack harris.ch appreciated. a wise man once said, it is not hard to do the right thing. it is hard to know what the right thing is. once you know what the right thing is, it is hard not to do it. four police officers, the right thing is -- has always been to make our communities safe. community safety and helping people should be law-enforcement number one priority. community safety is in part accomplished by putting those who prey on victims in jail. as the former police chief of the fifth largest city and our country, i directed my 3500 police officers to go after murderers, rapists, and thieves. i also asked them to help people, and ultimately to make our communities safe. recently in this country, it has become politically popular to blame immigrants for all of the ills that people perceive to be happening in our country and to attempt to force local law enforcement officers to divert their precious resources away from traditional crime-fighting strategies and concentrate instead on routine im

jack london in oakland. so you're covered. got your tub of popcorn, watch harry. i want to check the commute and see how things are looking. >> we're fighting the good battle. so far the good drive is winning as you approach the city from either the east bay or the north bay. golden gate and the bay bridge moving smoothly. and non-commute directions. approaching the san mateo bridge you might have an issue. we have a disabled vehicle at the 92 off ramp and a traffic break has been called to remove that. no injuries. slow approaching the area but heading west you can get to the san mateo bridge without much issue off 880. heading west with the taillights. we see a little fog or low clouds. tougher to see the high rise. the peninsula moving but the fog may thicken so be aware of that. the south bay, a nice flow with the northbound speed sensors, the southbound side of 87 is where we continue to watch the closure of the slow lane and the alma avenue off ramp. bob showed us it's not as dramatic as it sounded. on the ride side, the flashing lights heading out of downto
