i love to talk a bell will -- about lowell high school. i studied political science with a concentration in public administration. i worked eight years, largely in the public sector. then, earned a master's degree from carnegie-mellon in pittsburgh pennsylvaniamy work . i spent time as an executive director for nonprofit on the hill. i was assistant to a wonderful person named julie middleton. the park that worked at was formally known as the hunters point community foundation. we did several programming for kids in the neighborhood. i also have a background in politics on both sides of the day here in san francisco and oakland. i have done fund-raising for different candidates. i have work experience with the federal reserve bank of san francisco. i am most proud of the work i have done for myself. i started a business called power forward, a social media and public policy consulting firm. >> why did you choose to return and live in san francisco? what motivated you to run? >> what motivated me was my love of san francisco. i see the chan

i went out to that meeting at the architect's office, where it used to be lowell high school and that was the closest i got to seeing anything. i was promised though i would see some plans after that. i have a problem, i have never gotten a piece of paper since then or the notice which by the way i will leave that for you. i have three other ones here. which involved obviously the blocks around there, 3934 36th clay street, 3732 sacramento st., these are current notices. i do not know why could not get the one that is right next door to me. i have the property south of this property. i know the property extremely well. it is a four story building built after the earthquake and fire. my concern is what will happen if there is such a thing as what has been going on and i am not notified again about what is happening. the future with the building, i am concerned that what could happen to my building and that is an important aspect of this. the process is what i am questioning more than anything else. if i am notified about these others, why did i not get plans on this? i would like to ha

they have a credit recovery program being operated, as well as lowell high school.e working up some transportation issues because we want to try to get as close to 100 as possible. so there are already enrolled in summer school. the first hour is academic tutorials, academic enrichment, and the next hour we go for to the wheel hours, is about life skills and job readiness training. that is what we do. we bring in guest speakers to talk about college experience, talk about work experience. we conduct a couple of field trips, hopefully, to a university. we are trying to get out to maybe twitter or google or some corporation so they can have an opportunity to also see how the business aspect of the universe works. again, it is a two-hour program. first our definitely dedicated to academic tutoring and in richmond. next hour, life skills and job training. all of our tutors are college students right now. some of them attend across the united states and our homefor the summer, but all are college students. and, of course, that was done by design. the tutors are in the cl

as a graduate of lowell high school leadership san francisco and also a small business community owner, a member of the city college of san francisco community, democratic and committed the clubs, i think that with my different involvement in a lot of different communities, that i actually bring in a lot to the redistricting task force. mainly as an educator, it has been a goal of my to inform the communities and encourage them to get engaged in any process that concerns them and to remain active. for years i have been involved in community meetings and forums, and through that process, i am strong enough to push back and temper what is anticipated to be more political objectives. i am knowledgeable of a broad swath of neighborhoods and communities. as you know, it is important that the appointments at the same profiles, but as a whole, they embody the diversity and the spirit that reflects the city and county of san francisco. for these reasons, i feel that i am is strong enough to push back when necessary, and it is important to involve all of our communities in this process. i hope
