share a better life. >>> jack cafferty is here. he has the cafferty file. jack? little item here. restaurant in monroeville, pennsylvania, which is just outside pittsburgh, is banning children under the age of 6 from its dining room. the owner of mcdain's said he decided to change the restaurant's policy after other customers complained about noise and unruly behavior by children dining with parents who did little or nothing to control their offspring. the policy goes into effect saturday. if the place was closer, i would call and make a reservation now. mcdain's is a small restaurant. it only seats about 40 people. it sits quietly on a golf course. we're not talking chuck e. cheese here, you know what i mean? nonetheless, the decision to ban these little noise makers has caused an uproar in this town. this isn't the first time a restaurant has gotten fed up with tiny diners who can't behave themselves while eating a meal. last year, a restaurant called the old salty in carolina beach, north carolina, ruffled feathers. they put a sign in the window saying screami
