i'm alan wang. san francisco police are dealing with the aftermath of the violentout breaks after then 49ers-raiders game. two men were shot, and another man was badly beaten. we're at candlestick park where investigators were combing the scene earlier today. >> reporter: they were out here for a long time this morning, and those two men you mentioned who were shot were actually found different areas of this parking lot, and what police have not said whether those men attended this game, the shooting happened on candlestick grounds and just minutes after the game ended. this is just one of the many fights that broke out in the stands at yesterday's niners-raiders game. the youtube video shows some fans whistling and cheering as at least four men in niners and raiders attire pound on each other's heads and bodies. and it didn't end there. in the bathroom during the fourth quarter, 26-year-old san rafael man was beaten and knocked unconscious. he was rushed to the hospital and is in serious condition.

i'm alan wang. among the navy seals killed in afghanistan this weening end was a young man who grew up in napa county. abc7's lilian kim spoke with a friend of the family that is mourning him tonight. she is live in the newsroom. lilian? >> alan, that attack was the single deadliest loss in the war in afghanistan, and tonight we learn one of the service members killed was derrick benson. derrick benson was born and raised in a small town in napa county. he went to pacific union college prep. those who knew him were aware of how special his navy seal training was. of the 209 picked to enroll, only 19 finished and benson was one of them. he apparently was low key about it all. >> he was not the kind of person who talked a lot about himself. some people would have been really -- would have wanted everybody to know, but he was not that type of person. >> benson was one of the 22 navy seals killed when their chinook helicopter was shot down. eight other service members and eight afghans died in the crash
