you can imagine when you're consciously putting stuff up on facebook for gmail, where google will scanyour mouth for keywords, there's so much people know about you. there's a firm in arkansas that has this four-acre server farm. you can pay them and they will tell you so much about yourself. they will even tell you if you are right or left-handed. they know everything, right? they know every thing. some of the ads you get on the outskirts of these webpages are not totally tailored, but they are kind tailored and they stick with you. you are on one site and you could be looking up on kayak, which is a travel site, a flight to quÉbec city. and then subsequent pages, there's things about french lessons. you know, this kind of thing follows you. you can even go from page to page. this is a very lucrative business for google and facebook and whatnot. so the good of it is wikipedia is amazing, fantastic. your information in your profile the mind of advertisers becomes very specific, maybe in ways that are doing. it certainly reduces serendipity and that when you look for something a online
