[applause] >> good afternoon, mayor lee. i am very pleased to read the letter from the gray to green advisory panel. as organizations concerns that the climate will have on green infrastructure and as panelists on the greater green advisory panel to the san francisco climate action plan, we appreciated the opportunity to learn about the city's climate action strategy. we are writing to express our support for the city and county of san francisco's greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets and to recommend that the city incorporate urban greening and green infrastructure into its larger climate planning efforts in regards to both greenhouse gas mitigation and adaptation to climate change. we have a number of specific recommendations, and they are guided by these principles. one, the city, when forming green-space management policies, should consider local ecosystem functio

sst clear he's not going to have the kind of unemployment number that you want to see if you're running for re-election? >> the jobs report today is pretty good news relatively speaking, but the jobs picture overall is very bleak. i was talking to mark sandy a few markets ago, the economist who advised john mccain. he talks to a lot of democrats. he's expecting unemployment many the fourth quarter of 2012 to be 8.5%. that's very high for an uncouple bent running for re-election and for his party. it is not an encouraging picture for anyone incumbent right now begin how people see the situation in washington the public disregard for congress. certainly it's problematic for the president who's the chief incumbent of all. >> earlier on "the daily rundown" i had an exhibit interview with austin goolsby this is what he has to say about the jobs report which was as you point out better than expected. >> we still have a long way to go. so i guess i don't understand why we don't do these things that there's bipartisan support for which are not small thins. pass the free trade agreements, extend

on one hand sst great that this many people came out for the people jobs fair.hat so many people are unemployed in our community. we want to match people up. we've got jobs from entry level to executive level. all are welcome to come here. we just want to do our part to let people know that there is hope, that we care and we're going to do more than just talk about the jobs problem. >> "the washington post" has a headline that says the lack of jobs for blacks creatings tension for black lawmakers and obama. is there tension? is your approach different than the administration? >> our approach is different, but i don't believe there's any attention. certainly there's more than one way to skin a cat. what we're doing may be different from the approach the white house may take, but clearly we both need to create jobs. all of us need to do more. this is our effort at trying to help our communities. >> congresswoman, i wish you the best of luck. thank you. >> thank you so much. >> that wraps up this hour for me. i'm contessa brewer. i'll see you back here tomorrow. up
