an official with dominion virginia power, which owns the north anna nuclear power station says 25 ofhe 27 vertical casks moved between 1 and 4 inches. the official says none of the casks were damaged and no radiation leaked out. but anti-nuclear activists are alarmed. >> very concerned, because this material is ultrahazardous inside. this is high-level radioactive waste. if you lose radioactive shielding, you can deliver a fatal dose in a few minutes' time at close range. >> reporter: also according to dominion power, horizontal bunkers next to the vertical casks also holding spent fuel rods a sustained what an official called cosmetic damage, concrete coming loose on its surfaced. i asked james acton for advice on all of this. how terrible is the damage? >> not terrible. anything something happens with dry casks, it is a cause for some concern, and it has to be investigated to see whether there's a systemic problem here, but ting the safety risk here was absolutely tiny. >> they shifted 4 inches, what if one started wobbling, hit another one, and then you've got the bowling pin effe
