we saw it in denver, several inches in amarillo and now it's coming across little rock to memphis.inite circulation there. but the rain is to louisiana and east texas. all moving into a marginally cold air mass. we had snow across northern new longed -- new england it will attract south and east of us, keeping us with the normal air flow, and that will push the cold air in here. 7:00 tonight, we are okay, but the rain is down in richmond, and snow in the mountains now near snow shoe, and the rain shower activity will move in look at western maryland and parts of west virginia with snow. this will creep its way eastward with the cold air it will be really close. this snow may be farther south into pennsylvania in the afternoon. as we head into saturday evening, notice, the storm, the cold air is bringing some of the snow back to dc, and then it will pull out by saturday night. again, i don't think we will see much, if any, accumulations. on the watch areas, several inches of the wet, sloppy, sticky snow. upwards of a half a foot. tonight, 35 to 40. temperatures don't budge. tomorrow

i started taking notice when this same storm produced snow in amarillo, texas. a few inches there.o when that happens, you think oh boy, here it comes. you think today, the clouds have come in. this morning was gorgeous, lots of sunshine. we have the clouds in place now. temperatures are basically in the 40s there. i want to start with radar because i want to show you where the precipitation is. it's not just rain. i mean, we have a little bit of snow flying back to the west and back into west virginia. eventually this rain you're seeing over here into, well, skyline drive, the higher elevations, that's going to turn into snow later on this evening and the rain you see creeping up from the south will come up i-95 and for most of the metro by 10:00, 11:00, be rain. it looks like it is rain all night long and then for tomorrow afternoon, we begin in the metro a little bit of a change over to a snowy, wet mix that may even produce a little bit of accumulation in the city. greater amounts north and west. let's go to temperatures and show you that. 49 here in the city. we have been up t

rick: the storm that brought denver and amarillo storm is pulling to the east with snow in west virginia and heavy rain and the storm is getting doing when it moves offshore and it will develop quickly interest a nor'easter tonight and tomorrow. look at this. winter storm warnings without you see the pink across western massachusetts and vermont and connecticut and a big strip across much of pennsylvania and toward west virginia and virginia. a lot of snow falling across interior sections by october standards with 6" to 10" and the cities that did not get snow, we saw snow yesterday in interior sessions and rain across the coast, this is going to see snow mixing in with this and we will likely see snow fall accumulating 1" to 3" and boston, maybe 1" to 2" and philadelphia 3", and interior sections getting the bull's eye of this but you do not see this often, three times in new york city where we had snow in october and this the be will biggest snow fall we have ever seen in october. >>neil: massachusetts taking the brunt of the first season and over the weekend it could get worse. maybe
