meghan mccorkell has details just released by police. meghan? >> reporter: mary, you can see baltimore county police are still out here at this house, on bird river road in whitemarsh. it is the scene of a reported murder-suicide. an 85-year-old man and his 84- year-old wife, found dead just before 3:00 this afternoon. we're told that a family member had come to check on them and found them shot and killed in the living room. now, detectives tell us that a suicide note was found inside the home here. i just spoke with a family friend who said the couple was not having any kind. financial difficulties, but he tells me the husband had been sick. he had apparently been in and out of the hospital this year. he thinks it was potentially because of a stroke. now, at this point, county police are not releasing the identities of the couple until all of the family is informed. but they will be out here on the scene and so will we. for now, we're in whitemarsh, i'm meghan mccorkell, wjz eyewitness news. >> such a sad story. we're still working to get more

is into this fifth week i think on the line we could talk to meghan linnik one of the organizers of the occupy wall street movement she's experienced some tough police tactics herself meghan thanks for joining us on the line from new york there were a bit last minute that now we've seen these pictures just showed of you is there a verb what looked like strong arm tactics used by the police do you think any members of the n.y.p.d. should be held accountable. thank you for having me yes i do think they should be held accountable but unfortunately we have seen police brutality in the past many times in new york city especially with protests such as these and more often than not they are not held accountable and there is no repercussions for their actions so ironic isn't it the washington is always quite quick to condemn violence by police against demonstrators when it happens in other countries but not so quick when it happens on home soil rather more silent what you think about. yeah and it's also ironic that when we see uprisings in the middle east. our government wants to refer to them

the jury also heard from her daughter, meghan porter. she testified her mother was being abused by her father but pleaded the fifth amendment when asked if she conspired with her mother to have her father killed. her attorney would not comment as he and his clients -- as she and her client left the court room. tomorrow the defense plans to call one of the other co- defendants, carlo porter's sister, who has already been convicted of first-degree murder for her involvement in the crime. barry simms, wbal-tv 11 news. >> the jury selection resumes today in the murder trial for a woman charged with killing a co- worker in a bethesda shop. she is accused of attacking 30- year-old jane murray inside the store and then tying herself up to make it appear as if they had been attacked by intruders. the trial is expected to last about eight days want to get underway in montgomery county circuit court. >> charges for indecent exposure. he says he was urinating, but the 25-year-old victim has a different story. she tells investigators engaged in a le
