now, this is the first stop north of oakland to emeryville. the last two trains headed to sacramento have come through in the last 30 minutes from an oakland yard. and as you mentioned, buses are coming here picking people up from oakland so that they can come and board the trains from here. now, inside the station here at emeryville not boarding those trains are about 12 passengers who have been stuck here all night long. they were supposed to be on the coast starlight train that was involved in the accident. that train headed north to seattle making stops also in portland. it was set to get here at 9:57 last night. of course it never made it. these passengers spent the night sloping outside on the ben. , inside -- sleeping outside on the benches, inside crammed in the station trying to sleep. no food or drinks provided to them. no idea when they will be able to head north. at midnight amtrak offered buses back to san francisco, and passengers say 20 people took that option to avoid a long night. >> they encouraged people who wanted to turn i
