fox business network was stu varney of fbn joins me now. stu, why are we going there? why is our treasury secretary going over there and what is likely to happen, if anything, with american dollars? >> okay. america does not want to see the euro crash. if the euro crashes, if these insolvent countries cannot pay any of their debts, that entire continent goes into a depression. not just a recession. a depression. if that happens, it washes over our shores and affects our economy very, very badly, therefore, the administration will move heaven and earth to make sure there is some kind of bailout, some kind of time frame, that allows breathing space so the euro does not crash. that's why treasury secretary geithner is in frankfurt, he'll be holding talks starting tomorrow with all the top financial leaders of europe. he wants to make sure that a euro bailout is in place. it will be at least a trillion dollars, probably $2 trillion. the question is, where does that money come from. will america contribute anything via the imf? if so, how much? it's all open questions at th
