i'm sarah simmons. >> i'm wisdom martin. welcome to fox 5 morning news. we'll get to our top stories in just a minute. first, we'll take a look at the weather which was fantastic yesterday, tucker. >> it sure was. we had temperatures in the mid- 50s. going to be another nice one today. let's kick it off. there is your radar. much quieter than the last couple of days. we have sunshine in the forecast for the morning hours. we have relatively mild tempeat reagan national, 39 degrees. humidity, 73%. winds out of the north at 12. that will bring the cooler temperatures for the day. by cooler, we mean highs in the upper 40s. here is your forecast for today. more details in a minute. should be dry. still relatively mild for this time of year with highs expected to be about 48 degrees. this will be some clouds moving in this afternoon. we have some rain in the forecast for tomorrow. i'll have details on that in just a minute. back to you guys. >>> we're following breaking news this morning. u.s. military forces have freed an american and a dane who had been held

. >> i'm sarah simmons. thank you for watching. seems like every shot we take, sometimes it is a thicker fog, sometimes it is not so bad. >> it kind of comes and goes here. it will for the next couple of hours. sunshine and warmer temperatures. >> everybody is happy today. we want to talk about the fog and show you the dense fog advisory. just getting a statement here from the national weather service warning some of our viewers in places like gaithersburg and leesburg, you too should look out for dense fog. it has been sneaking down -- it has been really driving down 270. the fog will be locally dense here through about 8:00 this morning. dense fog advisory officially for counties in gray. the advisory until 8:00 this morning. temperatures are warming up this morning. 45 at reagan national. humidity, 93%. once we get the wind going, that will help mix out the atmosphere. we have a frontal system coming through as we speak. you can see it there on your september nell satellite. once on your sentinel satellite -- you can see it ther
