[applause] we are really lucky to have his mother, judith, up here on stage and his wonderful father, alastair, over there. [applause] i just want to briefly say, he was killed in misrata libya on april 20. he devoted his life to chronicling the human costs of war. he became part of that cost five and a half months ago and it's just a real honor to be up here accepting this award for myself, for tim and also for the men of the second platoon battle company who allowed us into their lives for a year. i love them all. i love tim and really i'm going to miss him tremendously. thank you.
