: hi, i'm bill o'reilly. thanks for watching us tonight. a victory for secular forces in america. that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. the susan komen foundation is the nation's largest charity combating breast cancer. took in more than $400 million in donations. with that enmornings the charity funds various enterprises that help detect and fight breast cancer. one of those enterprises is planned parenthood which refers women for mammograms. last year the komen foundation gave planned parenthood $680,000. now, that is the source of controversy because, as you know, planned parenthood is primarily in business to provide abortions. more than 300,000 each year. some pro-life folks say that's about 50% of the population don't like breast cancer money going into planned parenthood. this week the komen foundation said it would stop giving planned parenthood money. well, all hell broke loose in the secular precincts. proabortion lobby went craze. the internet was full of hateful posts against

: hi, i'm bill o'reilly. thanks for watching us tonight. are we losing freedom in america? that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. millions of americans are angry because the obama administration is forcing them to buy government mandated health insurance. also the feds want us to pay a huge amount of estate tax intruding on family legacies. and now, now freedom of religion is in question because the obama administration is ordering religious based nonprofit institutions to cover birth control in their insurance plans. so let's take it step-by-step. first of all, president obama believes in social justice. that the federal government has a duty to impose fairness in the marketplace and to redistribute income to folks who don't have very much. that is a core belief for barack obama. now, whenever you impose anything, there is an intrusion. you are being told what to do. that is why the supreme court is hearing the obama care controversy. at issue is the government attempting to control the h

there was a lot of discussion about reading the bill. reading the bill. if they had read this bill, there was a bipartisan no vote one senior member voted against it. this is in stark contrast to the unanimous vote in the united states senate on the bill. the committee on natural resources completed a controversial mark-up on the opening anwar drilling. with the clear knowledge that that is a very controversial item that will not pass the united states senate. you may have the votes here. that is similar to what happened on the payroll tax cut just last december. if you are going to work, work in a bipartisan basis, we ought to understand we are going to have to not push on one party on the other things that are unacceptable and won't pass and don't have the votes. the reason that george bush signed so many bills we passed in the congress in 2009 and 2010 was because we worked with the administration and worked with the senate. the senate and house controlled by democrats, president bush in office. he signed more than twice as many bills that we passed. w

it is a security bill, not a regulatory bill. it is designed with making sure we have a basic level of security in the cyber structures of our nation's core political infrastructure and that we have a way to exchange information that allows us to do that without private sector parties being afraid of violating other laws. this is not what one would consider a regulatory bill at all. as senator collins said, it really is designed to protect the american economy not to burden the american economy. the second set of objections would revolve around all private area. the aclu acknowledged that this bill has done a very very good job of incorporating those protections right from the get go. one of the reasons why dhs has the role it does is because we have a privacy of this with a cheap privacy officer who will be directly engaged in this. the bill, i think really addresses of those privacy concerns. i think senator mccain alluded to this that it's somehow duplicates the nsa. we don't need to clarify the authorities ordered jurisdictio

for example, the recovery bill. the recovery bill was primarily an appropriations bill. leave off part of the equation, but also when it comes to the revenue piece, skew the request. i yield two minutes to the gentleman from oregon, mr. blumenauer. the chair: the gentleman from oregon is recognized for two minutes. mr. blumenauer: i appreciate the gentleman's courtesy and his leadership. what we're talking about here this afternoon is one of a package of four budget proposals from our republican friends on the budget committee that are in total going to obscure the budgeting process, make it more complex, more expensive, and actually more confusing for the american public. i agree with my good -- what my good friend said about the dynamic scoring. there are already vehicles available to be able to deal with some of these feedback effects but not elevating it to the level of some sort of official score that frankly we've seen that the c.b.o., the congressional budget office, which is established as the impartial score keeper, puts out information like we discussed here to

bill: i see. who you want to win you ask this question, who do you think will win the nomination? that is an interesting question. it tells a bit of a different story. explain that. >> it does. this is something we ask in every election season, whether it's a primary or general election. we try to get a sense of where the public mood and expectations are, and there is still nothing that has changed the underlying dynamic that people think mitt romney will be the nominee. even 48% of rick santorum supporters say when all is said and done they think it will be mitt romney. bill: two-thirds in your polling with 67%. you asked folks in arizona whether or not they changed their mind waoefplt hav mind. we have found in the past this was a big number. in arizona it's much smaller. why? >> i think part of it is the field is shrinking, the race is taking on a more definite shape. it used to be people were saying, do i support rick santorum or michelle bachmann or newt gingrich or rick perry. those choices
