downtown. the clouds are the first sign of a weather system that will be coming through here in about 24 hours. it is just now getting into the texas panhandle, but it is moving fast. we will pick up a chance for rain and snow showers tomorrow night and over the weekend, the arctic front will come sweeping through here on saturday. a blast of cold and snow showers with a fraud arising -- are arriving on saturday. it will not be long before it heads toward the mid-atlantic states tomorrow evening. sunny skies in the morning and then rain and snow showers by the evening rush hour. things will be moving quickly through the region in the next couple of days. saturday it will spread east as the arctic front comes in from the mounds and pushes toward the coast. tomorrow and saturday evening, the possibility of light snowfall accumulations. sunday we will see clearing skies and a lot of sun, but it will be windy and cold. temperatures stuck in the 30's on sunday, generating snow showers up and down the appalachian mountains. a good weekend for skiing, but bundle up. you can see how it spreads to the eastern shore and a few spots may get a
